White House asked Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign as ambassador to Greece amid scandal

The White House has asked U.S. ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign, press secretary Katie Zacharia announced Tuesday.

“We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the team and we wish her well,” Ms. Zacharia told reporters during a press conference.

She did not confirm a timeline for replacing Ms. Guilfoyle.
