Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is leaving Broadway’s “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” two weeks earlier than planned, with her final performance scheduled for Friday, multiple news outlets report.

She was supposed to play the role of Zidler, the cabaret’s proprietor, from March 24 through May 17, but now is cutting that short by more than two weeks. A replacement performer to complete the show’s run has not been announced.

The rapper, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, is the the first woman to take on a gender-swapped version of the role of Zidler.

The three-time Grammy-winner issued a statement thanking the show’s production team without specifying a reason for her early departure.

“It’s been such an honor to be part of Moulin Rouge and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater. Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work,” she said in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Her departure comes on the heels of her breakup with Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Klay Thompson.

During the run Megan exited a performance mid-show in April after experiencing extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels. She was briefly hospitalized for a medical evaluation.
