by Mzta Churchill · GHANA PAGEGhanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has disclosed that he retired from music 3 years ago, hence, he doesn’t consider what he does now as music.
Shatta Wale disclosed while speaking in an interview with EIB Network boss, Bola Ray in an exclusive interview monitored by GH Page.
According to Shatta Wale, he is now more focused on doing business than doing music, stating that, “I retired from music 3 years ago. I’m doing business now”.
Meanwhile, the musician claimed that for him, he is very wealthy and lacks nothing, noting that when people see him shouting on social media, the reason is far from him being broke or needing financial assistance.
According to Shatta Wale, his numerous fights on social media aren’t for his gluttony, but for upcoming musicians, and the mainstream who could hardly speak for what rightly belongs to them.
Shatta noted that he sees himself as the only person who could fight for those who cannot, hence, the reason why he is on social media ranting and fighting people.
“Sometimes people see me on social media shouting and they think that I’m struggling. No, I have money but I don’t want to see my colleagues or the upcoming artistes suffer”, he shared.
He added that “I think it’s a Godly fight. Thank God it wasn’t a violent one but a verbal way just to echo my thoughts out”.
