If I had the power, I would let the government ban Tiktok in Ghana- Christiana Awuni

If she had the power, Kumawood actress, Christiana Awuni claims she would ensure that TikTok is banned in Ghana.

Speaking in a video sighted by GH Page, the Kumawood actress shared that social media, specifically, TikTok is doing more harm than good to the Ghanaian.

She noted that “It really bothers me. It hurts my soul as a woman. Social media didn’t come to help Ghanaians. If I had the chance, I would tell the government to ban TikTok and the others because they didn’t come to help us”.

The actress stated that, social media, to the best of her knowledge has helped a lot of people, admitting that many are making a lot of money from social media.

She said that, to people who are using the platform to amass wealth, she has no problem with it, but she also knows very well that, a lot of people are using social media for bad things.

“If you are using it to make your money, that is fine. But if you are using it to insult others, it is bad. Sadly, those insulting people are more than those using it to make money”, she added.
