A choir mistress has publicly accused a popular male worship leader known as Wonder Boy of failing to honour the promises he allegedly made to her after a private encounter between the two.

The allegations surfaced during the “Sompa Nkomo” programme on Sompa FM, a subsidiary of Teraone Media, hosted by Oheneni Adazoa.

According to the choir mistress, she first obtained the worship leader’s contact during a live television programme and later reached out to him seeking support for her music career, as she is also a singer.

She claimed that the interaction eventually developed into a personal relationship, with the worship leader allegedly promising to assist her and collaborate with her professionally.

Speaking on the programme, the woman alleged that the worship leader later invited her to a guest house where they had an intimate encounter and the meeting occurred twice during that visit.

However, she said the worship leader has failed to fulfil the commitments he made prior to their meeting, which prompted her to bring the matter to the public domain.

The choir mistress further accused him of using his influence and reputation within the gospel music space to gain her trust.

The issue has since generated discussion among viewers and listeners of the programme, with some calling for the parties involved to address the matter privately while others debate the broader implications for public figures in the gospel community.
