My mother warned me from attending Daddy Lumba’s funeral- Kofi Nti

One of Daddy Lumba’s pals, musician Kofi Nti has disclosed why he did not attend Daddy Lumba’s funeral despite the rapport that exists between them.

Speaking in an interview following Daddy Lumba’s funeral, Kofi Nti confirmed that he did not attend the late musician’s funeral, but did it for a reason.

The musician noted that he is someone who wants peace, hence, looking at the brouhaha that revolved around the funeral of the late musician, he had to distance himself.

According to him, before the funeral, he had anticipated that Abusuapanin Tupac could ensure peace prevailed among the family members, however, he realized peace was just an Ewe name to the Abusuapanin.

He went on to add that, even if he had plans of attending, he still couldn’t after receiving a call from his mother, which came with a piece of advice regarding the funeral.

Kofi Nti disclosed that his mother advised him to distance himself from the funeral and anything that had to do with Daddy Lumba because she did not want anything to happen to him.

Meanwhile, Kofi Nti stated that the final funeral of the late musician was below the belt, revealing that he anticipated something better than what he saw on social media and the traditional media.
