Texas Tech Honors Chad Hasty With New Memorial Scholarship

In honor of his legacy, KFYO, Townsquare Media, and Chad Hasty’s family have partnered with the Free Market Institute (FMI) at Texas Tech University to establish the Chad Hasty Memorial Scholarship Fund.

As a proud Texas Tech alumnus, Chad was a staunch supporter of FMI’s mission and often featured its members on his radio show. Providing scholarships to the Institute is a fitting tribute to his commitment to these principles and his alma mater.

Checks may be made payable to Texas Tech Foundation, Inc. with the memorandum ‘For the Benefit of the Free Market Institute – In Memory of Chad Hasty’ and mailed to the Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University, Box 45059, Lubbock, TX 79409-5059.

Once you finalize your transaction, Texas Tech Foundation, Inc. will mail you a formal receipt of your payment.

What Will the Contributions Go Towards?

All contributions through the Chad Hasty Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to support select undergraduate students who have completed FMI's Political Economy Reading Program.

Each applicant will be selected through a competitive process hosted each semester at Texas Tech. Successful candidates will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
