Theory Of A Deadman ... technically, just "Theory" since around 2019 or so ... first formed in 1999 and took their, (original), name from a song title on their first album about a guy who killed himself.  It was later renamed "The Last Song".

Over the years, Theory, (Of A Deadman), have been all over El Paso and have played just about every venue ... including the Inn of the Mountain Gods near Ruidoso.

Past Theory Of A Deadman Concerts

I've worked with the band on just about every one of their El Paso shows and once had lunch with Tyler while he was just passing through the 915 and had a 3 or 4 hour layover. Good times, every time.

In 2012, they played the KLAQ Downtown Street Festival, At that time, their song "Hurricane" was climbing the charts and, when they performed it during their Street Fest soundcheck, a mini hurricane blew through downtown.

That was the year Tyler told me that the bad girlfriend in "Bad Girlfriend" was a real girlfriend of his who would eventually become his wife. She's in the official video for the song ... which you can watch here ... but is no longer married to Tyler.

2014 brought them back again as the headliners for that years Fort Bliss "Rock The Fort" event. That was the year, remembering that I'm a biker, they brought me one of their T-Shirts from their Sturgis appearance.

I still have it ... in fact, I wore it when they came back in 2023. You can see it in the photo below. 2016 was the year they hit Inn Of The Mountain Gods and they returned to El Chuco in 2023 with Skillet and Saint Asonia.

That's their record in and around El Paso so far. So, you're probably wondering, Glenn; why are you bringing all this up now? Good question.

Because, as we all know, no record can stand forever ... stay tuned.
