Blue Bell Unveils New Ice Cream Flavor Just in Time for the Holidays

One of the great things about Texas is the food, it's usually on point. One of the most famous foods in Texas is ice cream, specifically Blue Bell.

Blue Bell has been a Texas staple that the rest of the world gets to enjoy, but Texans have an affinity for this delicious treat.  They have a wonderful way of putting the most amazing flavors into ice cream form, and their newest flavor is no exception.

What Makes Blue Bell’s Pecan Pie Ice Cream Special?

Now that fall is here, Blue Bell recently released a fall favorite, and when I say this one will cause you to wish for the holidays to hurry up and get here, you can enjoy this fall and holiday favorite in ice cream form.

Blue Bell recently released its newest flavor, Classic Pecan Pie, and yes, if you are a lover of or have a fondness for pecan pie, you want to go to your favorite store and pick up a pint or a gallon today.

I was in the grocery store over the weekend when I happened upon this new flavor. Now I love a good pecan pie. I mean, c'mon, my grandmother made the best pecan pies ever! Out of curiosity, I picked up a pint of this new ice cream. I figured it's Blue Bell, so it has to be good.

I waited a day; it had to go back into the freezer because my trip from the store to home took longer than expected.

When I finally popped the top of this pint of ice cream, the pecans and swirls of that gooey goodness were visible.

Does the New Flavor Really Taste Like Pecan Pie?

With every bite, I was able to get a pecan and that pecan pie filling. I was a bit bummed thinking that the only thing this ice cream was missing was the pie crust, but then I took my next bite and there it was, that flaky pie crust. If you're a fan of whipped cream on your pecan pie, then make sure you top your ice cream off with a little.
