Popstar Olivia Rodrigo adds two extra Amsterdam shows after rapid sell-out
U.S. musician Olivia Rodrigo has added two extra shows in Amsterdam after the first two shows sold out in record time. She will perform two more shows at the Ziggo Dome for her upcoming The Unraveled Tour.
The tour initially included performances on March 23 and 24, 2027, but after tickets sold rapidly, two extra dates, March 27 and 28, were added to meet the high demand. Concert promoter MOJO Concerts said the additional shows were added because of exceptionally high demand. Ticketmaster likewise reported a huge surge of fans trying to secure tickets.
Presale access for the original concert dates opened on Tuesday, while regular sales for the newly added shows went live on Thursday at noon. Ticketmaster lists starting ticket prices at around 72.93 euros, service charges included, with buyers limited to four tickets each.
Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming tour is tied to her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, scheduled for release on June 12. Its lead single, Drop Dead, debuted recently and quickly generated widespread buzz across social media and news outlets.
Her last tour, the GUTS World Tour, also proved to be a worldwide success, spanning over 100 performances and selling millions of tickets. Rodrigo previously played two sold-out shows at the Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands in May 2024.
The added Amsterdam concerts are part of a broader trend across the tour, with extra performances also announced in cities such as London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, and New York after overwhelming demand from fans.
While the opening acts have not been officially announced for every show, fans are already speculating about who might join the tour. On the previous tour, Olivia Rodrigo featured performers including Remi Wolf and PinkPantheress, and many expect her to once again spotlight emerging alternative pop talent.
Similar to the GUTS tour, part of the proceeds from ticket sales is expected to be donated via her Fund 4 Good initiative to nonprofits focused on women’s rights and access to reproductive healthcare.
