Leiden masseur arrested after after sexual assault allegations from female clients

A 41-year-old man from Leiden has been arrested on suspicion of raping two women while working as a masseur, according to the Public Prosecution Service (OM).

The two women reported the alleged rape independent of one another. One came forward in late August and another in early September.

They had reportedly visited massage salons in Leiden and the neighboring area. During the sessions, both were allegedly raped.

The man was arrested on September 4. His pretrial detention was extended by 90 days last Sunday as the investigation continues.
