2 dead at Brentwood home owned by actor, producer Rob Reiner

Two people were found dead in a Brentwood home owned by actor and producer Rob Reiner on Sunday, Dec. 14.

Crews responded around 3:40 p.m. to the 200 block of Chadbourne Avenue, where they found a 78-year-old man and a woman believed to be about 68 years old dead, said Margaret Stewart, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Information on the cause or causes of death was not immediately available.

Television news coverage showed a large police presence at the home, which is owned by Reiner, according to NBC LA.

The Los Angeles Police Department didn’t immediately respond to a request for information.
