Thousands of firefighters are trying to contain the original Palisades fire, which has burnt nearly 16,000 acres, and seven others across southern California in the US

According to official data 3,000 acres of land in Pacific Palisades, located between Santa Monica and Malibu, has been burnt to ashes. Several Hollywood celebrities have expressed their sorrow on social media over the destructive wildfire which has been raging out of control since Tuesday morning.
