Myanmar will have a total of 34 public holidays in the 2027 calendar year, including a nine-day break for the traditional Thingyan New Year celebrations, according to an announcement published in the State Gazette. The Union Government has officially announced the public holidays for offices across the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in 2027 in accordance with Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
