FSSAI has ordered a recall of an Everest cumin powder batch and suspended the licence of Sugarr and Spice operator Creative Bakers and Confectioners. The action follows confirmed pesticide residues in the spice sample and serious hygiene and record-keeping lapses at the confectionery chain.
