Australia announced December 19 it will launch a national gun buyback scheme following ⁠the mass shooting in Sydney as hundreds of surfers and swimmers paddled out at Bondi Beach to honour victims. The scheme is the largest in the country's history since 1996 and the Port Arthur Massacre. FRANCE 24's Richelle Harrison tells us more from Sydney.
