The art and antique fair TEFAF will remain in Maastricht for the next 10 years. TEFAF, the municipality of Maastricht, the exhibition center MECC Maastricht, and the province of Limburg have agreed to this, the province said on Tuesday evening. TEFAF has been held in Maastricht since 1988. The province describes it as “an event of great importance to the profile of our province that demonstrably generates substantial economic benefits.” In 2025, the fair attracted more than 41,000 visitors from 75 countries. There were 275 international gallery owners.
