The fifth day concert at the 51st anniversary of Tamil Isai Sangam in Madurai witnessed a full-fledged ‘Tamil Isai’ by Kalaimamani Kashyap to the accompaniment of Nella Ravindran on violin and Salem K. Srinivasan on mridangam.

A vocal concert by P. Madhushree to the accompaniment of D.S. Gokulnath on mridangam and P. Ganesh on violin was held on the fourth day of Tamil Isai Sangam’s 51st anniversary celebrations. Worshipping Lord Ganesa through Avvaiyar’s ‘Palum Theli Thenum’, Madhushree commenced with Papanasam Sivan’s ‘Muladhara murthi’ in ragam Hamsadwani pleading to the Lord to remove the sorrows of devotees.
