Leibel Lazaroff, who was injured in the Bondi Chanukah massacre, wanted to have his tefillin checked in the merit of his recovery. Reb Shlomo Israel, a Sofer at Chabad of Bondi, Australia, checked them, and Baruch Hashem, they are Kosher.
