Awolowo’s multi-million bronze statue unveiled at OAU
by Ganiyu Mubarak · The Eagle OnlineA multi-million seven foot bronze statue of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, has been unveiled at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
According to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju in a post on his Facebook page, the bronze statue was donated by Prince Yemi Shyllon.
The unveiling took place on Friday.

Those who attended the event apart from Olagunju, an Editor with the Tribune titles, were the Vice Chancellor of OAU, Prof. Adebayo Bamire, and his wife; and Senator Babafemi Ojudu.
