Annual Sun Run went off without a hitch

The 42^nd annual Sun Run took over the streets on Sunday with thousands of runners and walkers.

Runners could be seen showing their strides across different distances, including a mini Sun Run of 2.5km and the full 10km.

A sea of purple was all spectators could see as many sat on the sidelines to cheer participants on.

Music stations, water volunteers and plenty of encouragement went a long way to help keep the spirits up for runners.

The run has now wrapped up and all roads are open to the public again.
