Wellington train stoppage blamed on KiwiRail signal outage

MetLink says its Wellington train services are resuming after an earlier signal outage.

The passenger rail provider said major service interruptions were caused by an outage to KiwiRail's signal network.

It said services were still facing delays of up to an hour.

RNZ has contacted KiwiRail for comment.
