Nurse stabbed during patient callout

A nurse has been hospitalised with stab wounds after attending a callout to a property in Rotorua.

Police said they were called to an assault at an address on Maxwell Road in Ngongotaha around 12pm on Saturday.

They confirmed the victim was a nurse and was taken to hospital with stab wounds.

A youth has been arrested and is due to appear in Rotorua Youth Court.
