Unresponsive swimmer at Waimanalo Beach taken to hospital

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services co-responded to an unresponsive 61-year-old male swimmer at Waimanalo Beach at approximately 1:25 p.m. today.

The man was brought to shore, where CPR was performed before EMS took over care. He was treated with advanced life support and transported to an emergency room in critical condition.
