Driving conditions are difficult on the main roads A2, A6, A12, A13, A15.

On regional roads, driving conditions are poor in the vicinity of Madona, Gulbene, Smiltene, Krāslava, Preiļi, Rēzekne, Balvi, Alūksne, Valmiera, and Valka.

30 maintenance units are clearing the roads.
