Driving conditions are difficult on the main roads A2, A6, A7, A12, A13, A14, A15.

On regional roads, driving conditions are poor around Ventspils, Talsi, Tukums, Dobele, Bauska, Jēkabpils, Preiļi, Krāslava, Rēzekne, Gulbene, Balvi, Alūksne, Valmiera, Cēsis, and Limbaži.

55 maintenance units are clearing the roads.
