Hyderabad Stampede Aftermath: Has Allu Arjun's Help Fallen Short?

by · India Today

One year after the Hyderabad Pushpa 2 stampede that killed 39-year-old Revati, her son Sree Tej is still battling the aftermath. The nine-year-old, who spent 146 days in hospital, now needs continuous neuro-rehabilitation and cannot eat, drink, or breathe properly on his own. His father, Bhaskar, says the ₹2 crore deposited by Allu Arjun’s family isn’t enough, as the interest barely covers a fraction of the ₹1.25 lakh required every month for treatment. After he received no response while seeking further help, headlines questioned whether Allu Arjun had ignored the victim’s family.

Team Allu Arjun now says support is being routed through senior mediators and that adjustments can be made if needed. The tragedy’s impact continues — for a family still fighting to rebuild their child’s life.
