SC collegium recommends appointment of Orissa HC Judge Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo as CJ of Patna High Court

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held today, recommended the elevation of Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo, a Judge of the Orissa High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.
This appointment is part of a series of recommendations made by the Collegium for appointing Judges as Chief Justices of various High Courts.

Other recommendations include Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta as Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court, Justice Revati P. Mohite Dere as Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Justice M.S. Sonak as Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, and Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque as Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court.
These appointments are consequent upon the retirement or transfer of incumbent Chief Justices in the respective High Courts.
