2 hard-core Maoists with bounty of Rs 10 lakh surrender, watch

Nuapada: With the deadline for completely making the area from the Maoists is approaching close, Maoists are seen surrendering and giving up weapons in the Mao prone areas of Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

On Saturday, at least two hardcore Maoists surrendered in Gariabandh of Chhattisgarh on the Nuapada-Chhattisgah border area.

The surrendered Maoists have been identified as Santosh alias Lalpavan and Manju alias Nande. SDK Area Committee Member Santosh is from Bijapur district, while Sinapali Area Committee Member Manju is from Sukuma district.

These two hardcore Maoists had a reward of Rs 10 lakh on their heads. They have renounced violence and surrendered to the Gariabandh Police SP.
