Man seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in North York

A man has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North York.

Toronto police say they were called to Bartley Drive and Pinebrook Avenue just before 8:30 p.m.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

The driver involved remained at the scene.

Delays are expected in the area.
