LIVE: Senate resumes session on June 3

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate resumes session Wednesday, June 3, two days after the Senate plenary sessions failed to proceed due to the absence of the members of the majority bloc.

The chamber has faced dramatic shifts over the past month after a power grab to install Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano, forming a new majority which included now-detained Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and its protective custody of Sen. Bato dela Rosa, who is a fugitive from the International Criminal Court.
