East Sussex fire: Emergency crews battle huge blaze at historic former Catholic convent
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the former convent at around 5pm on Thursday, July 9 and have told those living nearby to keep their windows and doors closed.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) were called to the College Of The Holy Child Jesus on Magdalen Road in St Leonards at about 5pm on Thursday, July 9.
Plumes of smoke could be seen rising into the sky through as crews tackle the blaze.
No injuries have been reported.
Those living nearby have been advised to keep their doors and windows shut, ESFRS said.
Roads in the area are also being closed.
