Cheder Menachem of Long Island marked Yud Tes – Chof Kislev with a beautiful and memorable event. The program, MC’d by Rabbi Mendy Backman, 8th Grade Rebbi, included a catered fleishig seudah and an inspirational speech by Rabbi Shmuly Stiefel, 1st Grade Rebbi, who spoke about the Alter Rebbe and encouraged the talmidim to apply the teachings of Chassidus to their daily lives.

The event also featured the singing of niggunim, such as Padah V’shalom and the Daled Bavos, accompanied by live music from talmid Shaya Lieberman on the keyboard. The uplifting singing and dancing created an atmosphere of great joy and unity.

Talmidim enjoyed a sweet treat of ice cream for dessert, and a raffle for beautiful prizes added extra excitement to the celebration.

Rabbi S.Z. Berkowitz, principal, publicly thanked the sponsors and the Cheder PTA committee for helping make this event a special and memorable occasion.
