This Thursday, Agudas Chasidei Chabad will host a special Hei Teves farbrengen marking the celebration of the U.S. Federal Court ruling in 1987 that the priceless library of the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, belonged to the Chabad movement and not individuals.

The ruling, in favor of the umbrella organization Agudas Chassidei Chabad, was based on the idea that a Rebbe is not a private individual but a communal figure synonymous with the body of Chassidim.

The program will feature words of inspiration from Rabbi Moshe New of Montreal, Rabbi Sholom Moshe Paltiel of Port Washington, and Rabbi Yossi Garelik of Crown Heights. Each will reflect on the significance of 5 Teves and its relevance to us.

The event takes place this Thursday in Bais Rivkah Lefferts Avenue at 8:00 PM until 9:45 PM sharp with doors opening at 7:30 PM.
