PDP Bawang Assan to distribute rice, flowers for women voters
by Peter Boon · Borneo Post OnlineSIBU (March 6): The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Bawang Assan will distribute 1,000 packs of five-kilogramme rice along with flowers to women voters in the constituency in conjunction with International Women’s Day on March 8.
The distribution will take place from 8.30am to noon at the PDP Bawang Assan and Pelawan service centre, located at Lot 1598, SL 1, No. 46, Ground Floor, Lorong Wawasan 9A.
“It will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and is only for Bawang Assan women voters. They are to bring their identity card and collect it in person,” a representative said.
The guest-of-honour will be Bawang Assan assemblyman Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh, who is also PDP senior vice-president.
