Be a lifesaver, donate blood this Jan 2 and 3

KUCHING (Dec 29): Two blood donation campaigns will be held here this weekend to help replenish supplies at the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank.

Organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Branch, the first drive will be at the SGH Blood Bank on Jan 2, while the second is at Mydin Bandar Baru Semariang the next day.

Both events are scheduled from 8.30am to noon, said MRC Stampin in a statement.

“This campaign serves to ensure a steady supply of blood at the SGH Blood Bank, safeguarding patients in need of transfusions and supporting emergency medical care,” it said.

Successful donors will receive goodie bags as a token of appreciation for their life-saving contribution.

“Your donation can save lives. Join us in making a difference this New Year,” the branch added.
