  • Princess Beatrice is leaving the country over Christmas because things are THAT awkward.
  • The royal was torn between spending the holiday with King Charles and her parents, so opted out of both.
  • Beatrice is trying to "avoid embarrassment" and was worried about unintentional "snubbing."

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly torn between multiple Christmas invites—with options to spend the holiday with their disgraced father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, their exiled mother, Sarah Ferguson, or with the royals in Sandringham. And apparently Beatrice is so stressed that she's taking secret option number four and straight-up leaving the country.

A source says Bea turned down King Charles' invite to "avoid embarrassment," and feels "torn between loyalty to the King and her parents." Instead, she's going on a skiing trip with her husband and kids.

"Beatrice doesn't want to cause any embarrassment and was torn between loyalty to the King and her parents" a friend tells The Sun. "That is why with Eugenie they went to Buckingham Palace for the pre-Christmas family lunch. She appreciates the way that the King and William have looked after her during everything that has been happening with Andy and Sarah. She didn’t want it to look like they were snubbing anyone so it was easier to go off with friends."

Meanwhile, ShuterScoop reports that Andrew is considering a move to the Middle East, with a source saying "Over there, he’s treated like royalty, there’s respect, discretion, and none of the public hostility he faces at home."
