Roadworks to take place on busy Kildare motorway this week

The roadworks are to take place eastbound on the M7

An Garda Síochána Kildare is advising motorists that roadworks will take place on Kildare's M7 this coming week.

The roadworks will take place from Monday, March 30 to Thursday, April 2 2026.

Traffic management will be in place during off-peak hours for the duration of the works.

The schedule of the works is as follows: (22:00pm - 06:00am each night)

Traffic Management Details:

- M7 Eastbound – Junction 8 Exit: Closed

Diversion via N7 Eastbound → Junction 7 → N7 Westbound → Junction 8

- M7 Eastbound - Junction 8 Entry: Closed

Diversion via N7 Westbound → Junction 9 → N7 Eastbound

Motorists are advised to please plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra travel time.
