One person injured in two-vehicle crash at Kaitoke

There was a serious two-vehicle crash on SH2 in Kaitoke tonight.

Emergency services were called at 6.35 to the crash at the intersection with Waterworks Road.

One person was seriously injured.

The road was blocked at the intersection, causing significant delays in both directions till the damaged vehicles had been towed.

It did not reopen till 9.20pm.
