Jack County Firefighters battle 400-acre brush fire

Firefighters are working to put out a brush fire in Bear Hollow on Monday evening.

Officials say the fire has burned about 400 acres and is 10% contained.

Bear Hollow is near Wizard Wells, Texas, about 65 miles northwest of Fort Worth.

Texas A&M Forest Services is on the scene with aircraft and heavy equipment to help slow the fire's spread.

Jack County Fire Chief Jeremy Jennings says firefighters are facing a tough fight due to the area's rugged terrain, but confirmed that no homes or buildings are in danger.
