Rant and Rave: Halloween decorations make reader smile

RAVE to folks who go through the expense and trouble of putting up fun Halloween decorations! They put a smile on my face!

RANT to delivery companies that don’t maintain their vehicles! We have numerous patches and trails of leaked oil, hydraulic fluid and other vehicular waste showing up on newly repaved roads. Do you know those types of fluids are environmentally caustic and degrade asphalt to a point where potholes will be inevitable? Not to mention, the streaking looks horrible on a brand-new road surface. Take care of basic maintenance so we don’t have to put up with it, and your trucks will last much longer!

RAVE to all the Cub Scouts in Chief Seattle Council raising money for this year’s adventures. You’ve worked so hard! Rave also to all the people supporting them. We’ll be able to give these kids an awesome year and help them grow up with the scouting ideals because of your support.
