Rant and Rave: Good Samaritan returned reader’s lost keys

by · The Seattle Times

RAVE to the good Samaritan in Fremont who saw my ring of keys lying in the street and surmised where the hapless owner lived. Happily, the keys were in our mailbox when we returned home. Whew!

RANT to people in public places (crowded light rail, gym, concerts, waiting in line anywhere, etc.) whose conversations are loud enough for everyone there to hear. Especially annoying if you happen to be right next to them, and especially annoying because they tend to be blowhards who are “experts” on everything. Didn’t they learn “inside voice” in elementary school?

RAVE to people who buy electric cars, plant trees, install solar and heat pumps, minimize plastic, teach the young not to litter, pick up litter for their elderly neighbors, and teach students to be good stewards of the earth.
