Western WA floods: Schools closed, delayed Friday

A number of schools in Western Washington are closed or delayed Friday due to flooding.

King County

• Auburn School District: Two hours late.
• Enumclaw School District: One hour late. The early release schedule is still in effect.
• Lake Washington School District: Seven schools will be closed Friday due to staffing shortages: Alcott Elementary, Carson Elementary, Ella Baker Elementary, Mead Elementary, Timberline Middle, Eastlake High and Redmond High.
• Muckleshoot Tribal School: Closed.
• Snoqualmie Valley School District: Closed.
• Skykomish School District: Closed.

Pierce County

• Carbonado School District: Two hours late.
• White River School District: Closed.

Snohomish County

• Index School District: Closed.
• Monroe School District: Closed.
• Snohomish School District: Closed.
• Stanwood-Camano School District: Closed.
• Sultan School District: Closed.

Skagit County

• Burlington-Edison School District: Closed.
• Concrete School District: Closed.
• Conway School District: Closed.
• La Conner School District: Closed.
• Mount Vernon School District: Closed.
• Skagit Valley College: Closed until 5 p.m. Friday.
• Sedro-Woolley School District: Closed.

Whatcom County

• Lynden School District: Two hours late. No morning preschool.
• Mount Baker School District: 90 minutes late. No morning preschool.

Lewis County

• White Pass School District: Closed.
