Rant and Rave: Reader grateful for neighbor’s patience with puppy

RAVE to our understanding neighbors for treating our reactive dog with kindness. Another rave for our dog, Poppy, who has many redeeming qualities.

RANT to the tracking feature on a delivery website. On a Tuesday afternoon, their tracker told me that my package was scheduled for delivery by 6 p.m. on Monday (the day before.) News flash: I was still waiting, and I can’t go back in time.

RAVE to the Magnolia post office staff who were so friendly and helpful all holiday season long as we crowded their counter with orders from our small family business! We appreciate you!

RANT to any of Seattle’s roasters that don’t offer the option to try their beans in a single pour option. We’ve been to several well-known shops that refuse to provide pour-over or other means beyond “espresso” or “drip of the day.”
