From The Hindu Archives, January 2, 1976: Mr. V.V. Badami, Commissioner of Income Tax, Tamil Nadu, told pressmen… that a total of 12,153 declarants had disclosed income and wealth amounting to Rs. 154 crores under the voluntary disclosures scheme.
