AIIMS Bhopal doctors team honoured in Gwalior
by Staff Reporter · The PioneerUnder the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, a three-day Mega Medical Camp is being organized in Gwalior from December 25 to 27, in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. For this purpose, a team of 160 doctors and paramedics from AIIMS Bhopal set off in four buses on Tuesday.
This medical camp is being organized to provide free, high-quality medical services to the people of Gwalior and surrounding areas. During the journey to Gwalior, philanthropist of Guna, Manish Krishnani made special arrangements for refreshments and snacks in Biaora and Guna for the team.
Honoring the doctors, he said, "Doctors are the true heroes of society, saving lives through their hard work and continuous service. Their dedication and sacrifice cannot be expressed in words, but respecting them is our greatest responsibility."
The three-day camp will offer 25 different specialties and super-specialty OPDs. These will include expert doctors from departments such as cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, oncology, general medicine, and more, who will provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment guidance to the patients.
Prof Ajai Singh emphasized the importance of the camp, stating, "This Mega Medical Camp is an effort to honor the legacy of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his deep connection with Gwalior. Our goal is to make high-quality medical services accessible to the general public. AIIMS Bhopal will ensure that patients receiving treatment at the camp are provided with continuous medical care at the institute if needed."
