Water trucking for sections of western Jamaica this week

· The Gleaner

The National Water Commission (NWC) will undertake the trucking of water in sections of western Jamaica this week to bridge the gap in piped water supply amid ongoing restoration works following Hurricane Melissa.

The NWC says its team continues to face power supply issues, dislocated pipelines and mechanical challenges.

As a result, water will be trucked to select areas this week.
