Star Wars Genesis has a unique main story, a Rebellion story, and several standalone quests. The game’s five factions are fully changed, and the mod also adds five brand-new Star Wars factions. It includes new music and sounds, and it replaces all weapons, armor, and droids with Star Wars versions. On top of that, the mod adds many famous locations from the Star Wars universe.

According to the modder, Version 8.6 includes 40,000 rewritten voice lines. It also features alien races, droids, and custom cities and planets.
