As he is suffering from fever, doctors have advised him to stay away from public engagements and take complete rest.
Jagan arrived in Pulivendula from Bengaluru on Tuesday. He had planned to stay in Pulivendula for three days in view of the Christmas celebrations.
However, his health condition has worsened due to illness.
As per the original schedule, he was to leave his residence in Pulivendula at 9.30 am on Wednesday and travel by road to the prayer hall in Idupulapaya, reaching there at 10.30 am.
He was scheduled to offer special prayers along with his family members. Later, at 2 pm, he was to reach his camp office at Bhakarapuram in Pulivendula and hold a praja darbar.
With the drop in temperatures and changing weather conditions, cases of illness have increased, and many people are down with fever.
Jagan too has been affected and was examined by doctors, who advised him to take rest. Following this, all his programmes were cancelled.
YSRCP leaders and party cadres have wished him a speedy recovery. However, party workers who had hoped to meet him were left disappointed.
