The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) will award degrees to the first 77 graduates of its international postgraduate programme in digital health management on 3 November 2026, as Greece, Portugal and Finland strengthen academic cooperation in healthcare technology.

The English-language joint master’s programme, titled Management of Digital Transformation in Healthcare (ManagiDiTH), was established and is jointly operated by AUTh’s School of Medicine, Portugal’s Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, and Finland’s Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

ManagiDiTH equips students with the knowledge and skills to apply digital technologies in healthcare, develop innovative practices and increase the value of health services.

The programme aims to accelerate the digital transformation of healthcare and improve the efficiency of medical services, particularly as Europe’s population ages. It also addresses the growing need to modernise healthcare data management.

International conference focuses on digital health innovation

The first 77 graduates will receive their degrees at 9am on Tuesday, 3 November, in the Ceremony Hall at Aristotle University, as part of the international conference DiTH – Digital Transformation in Health.

The conference will take place on 2 and 3 November 2026 at the university’s Centre for Dissemination of Research Results (KEDEA).

DiTH 2026 will bring together researchers, academics, public administration officials and healthcare professionals to examine developments in digital health and innovation in healthcare delivery.

Aristotle University contributes to the European project through its Laboratory of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation at the School of Medicine.

The ManagiDiTH European project consortium organises the conference with support from the European Commission’s Digital Europe Programme. The opening ceremony will take place at 9am on Monday, 2 November, at KEDEA.
